Not many people get to walk out onto the grounds of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) but today, not only did you get to see the MCG from the ground, you were carried by mummy and daddy like a prince.
We got to see the ground from the perspective of a sports person (the ground is actually a lot harder than you’d think; almost as hard as concrete!), lay on the lush green grass, sit on the bench and explore the change rooms.
Daddy weighed you on the very same scales that the AFL players get weighed, put you in the lockers, gave you an empty ice bath (you- and not just because you’re small- can stand in those things! :o) and saw where the players get massages and interviewed!
It was an exhausting day, you got very tired and overwhelmed and were not keen when mummy and daddy wanted to do a quick Costco shop or eat. Well done on your first big family outing Mung Bean. Mummy and Daddy are very proud of you.
